A suspect is was killed and nine injured, an hour after an active shooter situation was reported at Ohio State University. Just before 9:58am, the university issued a notice telling all students at the school campus to look for safety.
The very first gunshots came from Watts Hall, which is home to the school Materials Science and Engineering program.
Not too long, the focus of law enforcement presence was on the campus where the shooter or shooters were believed to be hiding.
The Police stormed the garage just before 10:59am and a minutes later they confirmed that one suspect was dead. two men, one black and one white, were also brought out of the building in handcuffs.
It's unclear if there are more suspects and the campus remains on lock down.
