COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED AT THE END OF THE STAKEHOLDERS FORUM HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 23, 2016.
1. Assess achievements of the last stakeholders forum
2. Review strategies to make its decisions effective.
3. Familiarize members of appropriate channels of communication and possible contacts.
4. Give to members the opportunity to make meaningful suggestions for the up-liftment of the University.
5. Provide members the opportunity to appreciate strategic directions of the University and offer assistance, where necessary.
6. Frowned at Management’s inability to collect expected fees from student;
7. Urged the University Management to make available to students, semester examination results one month after examination;
8. Directed parents to constantly enquire from the University MIS office, the status and academic performance of their children/wards;
9. Praised the University Management for drastic positive transformation of University infrastructure and physical environment;
10. Praised the University for its excellent performance in the 2015 Accreditation exercise;
11. Supported Management’s strategic directions in uplifting the status of the University.
12. Approved that only students who have paid approved fees for a semester in a session should be allowed to sit for examinations.
13. Thanked His Excellency, Senator, Professor Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State for his continuous efforts to re-position CRUTECH, and making it a world class University.
